Why not come English Country Dancing

1. Can't dance.  Do not believe it, if you know left from right and can put one foot in front of the other then you are more than halfway there. All dance are called, all dances are walked through before the music begins. If things go wrong it must be the callers fault.

2. I do not want to look silly. Hand on heart you will not, even the most experienced of us end up confused, in the wrong place. or just with two left feet. Just believe in the adage If things go wrong it must be the callers fault.

3. I might be too old.  Many of our dancers are of, lets say, a mature age. But believe me they put the youngsters (less than retiring age) to shame.

4. My memory is awful, I will not remember the moves.  You do not need to, after a time you may recall a few favourites, but just refer back to point 1, all dances are called and If things go wrong it must be the callers fault.

If you can think of a better reason not to come, then tell me to my face.
